We noticed a seasonal change because many members mentioned the weather in this meeting. For example, we talked about temperature changes from warm to cool, a typhoon, and a way to spend a rainy day or sunny day. Furthermore, today’s meeting theme was Plans to enjoy Autumn, so we introduced our plans for Autumn when we spoke. It’s interesting to know members’ plans!!
■Good and New We had a good and new session where all the participants shared something good and new that happened in the past 24 hours.
■News of the Week TM K presented a Japanese designer Udagawa Masamichi who designed New York Subway vehicles.
■Speech In the first speech, TM Y talked about an experience as a host of a reunion party. TM Y could hold a reunion party for his teacher though there were many difficulties that he needed to overcome.
In the following speech, TM E talked about the roles of the IT industry. The presentation was very organized and visualized. It’ll work for people considering getting a job in this industry.
■Table Topic Session TM S asked some questions, and members answered them. A member hadn’t been trying it for a long time. It’s challenging to make a speech immediately, but there is only way to improve. Just try many times!! We enjoyed the TT session today.
■Evaluation TM KS delivered an organized evaluation of TM Y’s speech. I could feel TM KS’s expectations for TM Y’s following speech from TM KS’s face and tone. It must be the motivation of TM Y. TM KY delivered a kind evaluation of TM E’s speech. TM KY could give specific ideas for TM E’s speech.

TM E shared the news about “NFTs worth 100 million stolen in the past year” as well as explained the basic knowledge of NFT to help us understand the news.
Lecture for the Evaluation Contest
Before starting the next session, TMOM announced the coming evaluation contest and how the contest will be operated.He proposed that we practice evaluation within 5 minutes at today’s meeting. He also stressed that practice of evaluation will enhance our feedback abilities in daily life.
Prepared Speech session
Beautiful speech by TM K on Isao Noguchi’s masterpiece with beautiful visual aids and storytelling. By knowing the artists’ life in Japan and the US, our viewpoint to look at the masterpiece has changed after the speech.
Table topics session
First time Table topic master TM H chose “Chilling topics” for summer . It was a chilling moment for every participant to deliver 2-3 minutes impromptu speech. We learned various meaning of chilling, “scary” “thrilling” “calm” “nervous” and “cold” through Table Topic speech.
Evaluation Session
TMK delivered a helpful and insightful evaluation for the prepared speech. Thanks to the time management of TMOM, the meeting was successfully adjourned on time.

TM K introduced how to play “Wordle”. He play the word game at online everyday. Wordle use a five letter words. ” E T A O I N S R H L ” is frequently letters. How to play Wordle and How would you like to play Wordle?
2nd Speaker : TM H
Title: 人生で最も成功したダイエット TM H が最も成功したダイエットは糖質制限ダイエット、TM H はニート生活も体験してきたが、素敵な服をきたい、素敵な人に持てたい と考え、ダイエットを挑戦したものが糖質制限ダイエット、特別な日には糖質制限をせず、無理なダイエットもせず、糖質制限により 今のスリムな体を実現、また健康な体も手にいれたエピソードを紹介してくれました。
[News of the week] TM S この夏の電力不足について、TM S さんの仕事が関係があり、なぜ今年電力不足になったか、再生可能エネルギーの問題を含めて なぜ、原子力発電所を再稼働したのか、詳しく解説、勉強になるスピーチをしてくれました。
[Table Topics] Table topics master was conducted by TM E. She made five topics and the member chose her topic by the speaker. TM E. asked for us five questions. Where do you feel like can be yourself? How would you like to be known to history? etc.
[Evaluation Session] TM S took a role of General Evaluator.
TM A evaluated the first speech in English. TM A evaluate TM K speech. TM A evaluation was well correctly. He didn’t have much time to prepare.
TM K evaluated the second speech in Japanese. gave the speaker good advices concretely which the speaker can improve. TM H should use some goods for TM H speech.
General evaluator gave applause to today’s TMOM, TM K gave some good comments to all speeches and she flexibly managed the meeting though there were some unexpected comments.

She talked about her personal experiences when she came back home from Canada. She didn’t look nervous and we cannot believe that this was her first speech! I look forward to her next speech.
[News of the week]
The agenda was changed due to machine trouble. TM K talked about the film “Coda” which won the Academy Awards this year. He showed some part of the film on YouTube and that makes us want to watch this film!
[Table Topics]
Table topics master was conducted by TM K. She chose the floriography as topics and requested speakers to present their episodes relating to the language of flowers. It was unique and interesting as the theme of table topics.
[Evaluation Session]
TM K took a role of General Evaluator.
TM I evaluated the first speech in Japanese. She presented her evaluation before the news of the week. Her evaluation was well organized and delivered with amazing vocal variety like a prepared speech though she didn’t have much time to prepare.
TM A evaluated the second speech in English. He gave the speaker good advices concretely which the speaker can improve. It was really helpful not only for the speaker but also for other members.
General evaluator gave applause to today’s TMOM, TM K because she gave some good comments to all speeches and she flexibly managed the meeting though there were some unexpected changes.
